What is RiskPrintTM?
RiskPrintTM is a ground breaking scientific approach to investment risk profiling. It provides a robust and compliant service, which coupled with open discussion, will lead investors to a suitable investment profile that meets their personal investment needs. RiskPrintTM research has identified that investors risk tolerance is made up of two factors, Attitude and Capacity.
> Defining the two factors
Capacity - refers to the ability to take on investment risk. It takes into accountthe compatibility of current investment priorities and future chosen lifestyle. Added into the mix also is the overall financial situation and demonstrated past behaviours. These factors can often show that a capacity for investment risk is incompatible with a willingness to take on investment risk.
Attitude - is the propensity for financial risk, plus the emotional willingness to accept all possible (including negative) outcomes. The questions from this part also look at the investment comfort zones, differentiating behaviours on a scale from aversion (low) to tolerance (high). RiskPrintTM tests both capacity and attitude separately, and then combines the two results to produce an output of an investors investment potential.

How can RiskPrintTM evaluate individual needs?
The final RiskPrintTM output displays both an attitude and capacity line that intersect the Optimal Risk Line. This final intersection of all 3 lines then coincides with an initial portfolio for discussion with a financial adviser. The closer that the capacity and the attitude lines lie in relation to the optimal risk line, the closer the investors attitude and capacity are alligned. Both the capacity and attitude lines are constructed from two independent tests of 19 and 28 questions respectively ensuring both an indepth and unique RiskPrintTM.
> What differentiates RiskPrintTM from other risk profiling tools?
Many risk-profiling tools use investor's financial circumstance, and produce a simple output based on future cash flows. Grosvenor RiskPrintTM is a risk profiler that has psychological origins that probes an individual's personality traits, emotions, values, financial attitudes, investment goals, decisionmaking skills, market perception, financial discipline and money management. The final output is designed to allow investors a personal insight into their investment risk and tolerance levels, and demonstrate how these impact on financial decisions.
